Most firms offering Sage 50 development in the UK are Sage resellers first. Their development team exists downstream of licence sales, which means there is always a quiet commercial interest in recommending a bigger edition, an upgrade path, or a migration to Sage 200.
We are not in that position. We can supply Sage 50 if you would like us to, but we do not depend on it and we have no licence revenue to protect. We get paid to make the system you already own do the thing it will not currently do. If the honest answer is that you do not need bespoke development, we will say so, and that answer costs us nothing.

Sian Trading use Sage 50 extensively to drive their sales order process and needed to improve productivity and bring consistency of approach. We built a bespoke front end that imports order details from their master spreadsheet and creates both the sales order and the purchase orders needed to fulfil the trade, with documentation produced automatically as PDFs on the network.
Because Sage 50 remains the repository for all the data, a change made in Sage or in our application is reflected in both.
TDE were running Sage Line 100 with a bespoke SOP job processing system and needed to move off the obsolete platform. We migrated their data into Sage 50 and built a bespoke front end managing sales jobs, generating purchase orders to satisfy stock requirements, and handling the whole sales workflow from quote to final invoice.
They are on our ongoing support, which includes free upgrades to their solution when Sage issue a new version, and we act as frontline support for Sage 50 itself.
Guernsey Freight receive electronic invoices from DHL and wanted to generate their own sales invoices from them with an agreed mark-up. We built a solution that reads the purchase invoice file, validates the data, matches the sales ledger account, calculates the sell value with a percentage uplift and presents the invoices for approval before updating Sage 50 and emailing PDFs to customers.
They continue to use Sage 50 in the normal way for payments against those accounts.
Harveys had run on Sage Line 100 for twenty years and moved to Sage 200 in 2012, with a mission-critical sales order process that could not be interrupted. We modified Sage 200 heavily, recording dutiable volume and ABV against stock items so duty is tracked through the SOP, and adding bottle and case charges to invoices automatically.
We built four new modules — sales order processing, BACS processing, document imaging and purchase invoice processing — and took on their IT outsourcing.
As Sage developers we can develop against any Sage product, and we have done a great deal of Sage 200 and Sage Line 100 work over the years — Harveys Brewery above is a Sage 200 project. Sage 200 is a more complex system and it is not where we choose to concentrate.

No. Our Sage 50 work is UK only. Our PowerBuilder practice works internationally, but Sage 50 accounting is a UK product and we keep that work here.
